Greenville Open Studios is a weekend event which opens the studios of local visual artists to the public.
The goals of Greenville Open Studios are to provide free and convenient community access to visual arts, to educate and create a dialogue between artists and the general public by opening artists’ place of work and inviting the community-at-large to participate in the creative process, and to create new marketing opportunities for artists.

A Million Little Pictures
Date: September 25, 2009
Place: Art House Coop, Atlanta, GA
During the summer of 2009, one thousand artists from around the world will document their lives in 24 frames using a simple disposable camera with a flash.
On September 25th, 2009, an exhibition housing over 24,000 photographs will be constructed to take you on an adventure through the lives of these thousand artists.
In an effort to bring the exhibition to the masses, we've decided that in addition to its opening in September at Art House Gallery in Atlanta we're going to bring the exhibition to the U.S. city that has the most participants.
California came out on top with the most participants and A Million Little Pictures will be displayed in San Francisco at 111 Minna Gallery on January 8th, 2010.

The Big Crafty

100 indie crafters, food, drink and music, and a craffle raffle. The food and beer, yes...beer, is always so tasty. The craffle raffle is a table loaded with handmade goodies from all the vendors. There is always so many peeps there shopping that you can hardly get around, it's always exciting and fun.

All participating artists received a small moleskin sketchbook, upon completion they were sent to the Art House Coop Gallery to get ready for a small tour of the East Coast. The show opens February 27, 2009 at the Art House Coop in Atlanta. All sketchbooks will be on display for viewers to pick up and flip through, what a special treat...to be able to actually touch the art!
